Are you an artist looking to explore new tools, experiment with new processes, and bring your ideas to life?

Applications are now open for the next International Avenue Arts & Culture × Fuse33 Artist in Residency Program!

This residency gives selected artists the opportunity to step outside their usual practice and explore what’s possible in a makerspace, from laser cutting, woodworking and digital fabrication to textiles, electronics, 3D printing and more.

You'll have access to:

Fuse33 Makerspace and our tools & equipment
Hands-on learning and skill development
Support and mentorship from our maker community
Opportunities to experiment and expand your artistic practice
A welcoming community of artists, makers and creatives

You don’t need to already know how to use the equipment. The residency is about learning, experimenting, and discovering new ways to create.

If you have an idea you've been wanting to explore or you're curious about how fabrication and technology could become part of your art practice, this is your chance.

IAACC (International Avenue Arts and Culture Community) is pleased to host the 16th Artist in Residency in partnership with Fuse33 Makerspace This a sponsorship program designed to engage local artists to develop skills further to enhance their talents.

Join us next Sunday at FUSE33 Makerspace for an art market and live demos, including a clothing swap facilitated by pansyclub with DJ sets by Chloe Stankowski and nick wise!

Remake your clothes at a pop up station by Jonas 16 Noah Milo and new saint!

This is mostly an outdoor event! Bathrooms will be on site.

Respect the space and explore the neighbourhood. If you’re transiting from the Downtown core, you can take either the #1 Forest Lawn or the Max Purple.

Both routes pass through Inglewood and International Avenue. We recommend getting off at the 33rd St SE Eastbound station.

Last night we celebrated the Spring Artists in Residence cohort with artists talks, a showcase of their work and good chats. Congrats to all the artists and thank you to International Avenue Arts & Culture Community for continuing to support artists in their journey, learning skills to integrate into their practice.
