Running from Banff to Calgary was just the beginning. Now we are warmed up to what comes next.
I RAN FROM BANFF TO CALGARY
The idea of running from to Calgary has been on my mind for a while. Now I finally got to do it! Going through this journey that I appreciated the most is the support I have received! I never had to run alone, I always had my crew waiting at the checkpoints, and the final 10 km were unbelievable. So many friends showed up to arrive with me at the Calgary Tower! I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you all for the support!
Special thanks goes to Soria Emanuel and to my wife Zoe Tali for crewing me the entire time! We have been a team for other ultra challenges and I feel so blessed with your support!
And full transparency… When I initially planned my route from downtown Banff to the Calgary Tower on strava, the distance was shown as 150 km. It turned out to be 140 km once I arrived at the Calgary Tower.
