Jamie Rose - The Modern Day Rockstar
Jamie Rose is an Australian singer, songwriter and producer that makes music for the misunderstood and undervalued. Growing up with the anxieties of a complicated home life, she wrote songs on her guitar to express her truth and cope with the feeling of being alone. Independently she has performed around the world, worked with award winning producers and collaborated with major film and television networks. Jamie Rose resonated deeply with this production as it highlighted the difficulties of accepting yourself and shows the conflicts of struggles of the LGBTQ community - a community that Jamie Rose is proud to represent. Amongst her nomad lifestyle of songwriting and performing, she finds herself airing on TV, featuring in films and spinning on radio stations like Triple J and Beats 1 Radio. Jamie Rose has created Rose Motion - a House Music DJ Duo. So, if you were wondering… Yes. She parties as hard as she works.
