Nobody really talks about this part of becoming a content creator… overcoming the shyness. 😭
The awkwardness of setting up your camera in public.
Wondering if people are watching.
Doing another take because someone walked past.
Feeling like you need to explain why you’re recording yourself.
And when you’re a solo content creator, there’s no friend behind the camera to make it feel less awkward — it’s literally just you, your tripod and your confidence fighting for their lives.
But somewhere between the awkward takes and the ‘let me just do it quickly before someone comes’ moments, you start caring a little less.
I’m still learning. Still getting shy sometimes. But I’m doing it anyway.
Because maybe confidence doesn’t come before you start… maybe you build it by continuing.
Solo creators, please tell me I’m not the only one who went through this? 😭😂”
Solo content creator • shy content creator • content creator confidence • overcoming camera shyness • filming content in public • beginner content creator • creating content alone
No one can recount the tedious process better than you 😅😅
Lately, I’ve been appreciating the in-between moments a little more. 🤍
Not everything has to be rushed, accomplished or figured out.
Some days, simply being present is enough. ✨
Monday OOTD because I can✨✨Monday OOTD because I can 🤭🤭
Not after getting free unplanned hair-do..
Fun fact- this transition was meant for something else😂😂😂
Friday night plans? Yes please. 😌
Plan > A little reset, a little self-care, w**e and of course movies. ✨
If you’re looking for me… I’ma be somewhere becoming everything I said I would be. 😌✨
Career. Business. Good people. Passions. And a little enjoyment in between.
Basically… booked, busy & becoming. 😂💅🏾
Where are YOU gonna be?👇🏾

Because protecting your peace sometimes looks like accepting that you can’t control every outcome and choosing to be okay anyway.
One thing I’m learning as I get older is that not everything deserves my worry.
I used to think I had to figure everything out, fix everything, understand why things happened the way they did, and somehow make every situation work.
But I’m slowly learning to do my part, give my best, and leave the rest alone.
Some things are simply outside my control : people’s actions, their opinions of me, timing, outcomes, and situations I’ve already done my best to change.
And strangely, there’s so much peace in finally accepting that✨
I’m still learning, but these days I’m choosing to protect my energy instead of exhausting myself over things I cannot control.
What’s one thing you’re learning to let go of lately? 🤍
Because warned us that having hobbies after a 9–5 requires a second supply of energy✨✨✨ But keep pushing ✨✨✨
What if I belonged to the ‘80s? ✨✨ So I asked ChatGPT😊
Big hair. Bold shoulders. Statement jewellery.
That unmistakable old-school glamour. ✨✨✨
