π’ Canada Travel Update β Easier Travel for Some Indonesian & Malaysian Citizens
Canada is easing travel rules for some travellers from Indonesia and Malaysia βοΈ
Starting May 26, 2026, eligible citizens may be able to travel to Canada by air using an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) instead of a visitor visa.
β
You may qualify if you:
Held a Canadian visa within the last 10 years, or
Currently hold a valid U.S. non-immigrant visa
β οΈ Important:
This change applies only to eligible travellers flying to Canada. Travel by land or sea still requires a visitor visa, and study or work permits are still required if applicable.
This could mean faster processing and lower costs for qualifying travellers.
