Extended family sessions are my jam.

I had so much fun spending the morning with this crew! You could feel the love (and the laughs) the whole session, and it was such a joy getting to capture everyone together.

We seriously lucked out with the weather too—it started raining just as we were wrapping up! I don't think we could have timed it any better.

This family was visiting from the United States to spend some time where Mom grew up here in Alberta. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to capture this special chapter for them. It’s always an honour to be asked to capture moments like these, especially when they’re tied to family, memories, and a place that means so much.

A big thank you to them for being so flexible with the weather. We had to move the session because of the thundershowers, but it ended up working out perfectly. Alberta weather likes to keep us guessing, and I’m really glad we found a window to make it happen.

This is our godson. It honestly feels like just yesterday he was a little kid, and now he's 18, graduating from high school and getting ready to head to the U of A. Time really does fly. We're so proud of him and can't wait to see where this next chapter takes him. Wishing him nothing but the best as he starts this new adventure.

And to all the graduates from the Class of 2026—congratulations! Enjoy every moment. You've earned it.

One of the things I love most about what I do is getting to photograph families through different seasons of life.

This session was especially meaningful because it marks the start of a brand-new chapter for this family. After calling Calgary home, they're packing up and heading to Texas for their next adventure. Before they left, they wanted one last photo session in the city that has been part of their story for so many years.

I'm so grateful they trusted me to capture these memories for them.

It's back! No more winter coats. Warmer sessions are finally here, and even those early morning shoots are a lot easier to say yes to.

These three chose a sunrise session, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful light, quiet surroundings, and a chance to slow down and spend some time together before the day got busy.

I’ve known this couple for a few years now and have seen them through many different stages of life. From the very beginning, they’ve always been incredibly kind, easygoing, and genuinely wonderful people to photograph.

So when I got the message that they wanted to book a newborn session, I was honestly really happy for them. There’s something special about getting to witness these life changes over the years, and then being trusted to document them too. Seeing them settle so naturally into parenthood and watching them with their little one was really sweet to see.

A newborn, two protective pups, and parents soaking it all in. You could feel how much love was in that space.

I always say this, but these are the moments you never realize are everything until later.

Winter days.
Tiny boots in the snow.
Grandparents who would do anything for one more hug.

These playful outdoor sessions are always so heartwarming.

Well… guess who’s back? Winter is.

Not complaining though. We definitely got spoiled for a few weeks there, and I’ll take that little teaser of spring while we can get it. It was good while it lasted.

Love is in the air.

Sessions like this feel effortless. When the connection is real, I don’t have to overthink anything. I give a bit of direction and then let them just be. The laughs just happen. The quiet in-between moments happen, too. I’m mostly just there to catch what’s already there. When two people are this into each other, you can feel it in every frame.
