When worldwide harmony feels elusive, when discord and disharmony seem to pervade every aspect of life, I pause to honor and bless those who are working to create lasting peace.
In honour of International Day of Peace, we share Unity’s Daily Word®:
Today I go one step further and join those efforts. If I feel overwhelmed by the enormity of the mission, I remember that peace in the world begins locally, right where I am.
I train my thoughts on peace and all that flows from it: cooperation, kindness, patience, and inclusion. I hold a vision of the world’s people living harmoniously.
I also act in accordance with the peace I wish to create. I listen before I speak and consider others’ needs, not just my own. The peace that I share blesses the world.

What happens when we stop, become still, and listen within?
Life can feel busy and noisy, but we don’t always have to look outside ourselves for clarity. Sometimes, a few quiet moments can reconnect us with the inner order, wisdom, and peace already within.
This month’s practice is simple:
🧘 Spend five minutes each day in silence.
No phone. No distractions. No need to accomplish anything.
Just sit quietly, breathe, and allow yourself to become still.
✨ Stillness realigns us with inner order.
