Another successful year of Pedal 4 Joy!

We’re so grateful to Pedal 4 Joy and the Town of Banff for sponsoring the bike that gives our residents and seniors in the community the chance to get out, explore Canmore, and enjoy some great rides together.

What a summer it’s been at Origin!

We filled these sunny months with beautiful hikes, nature walks, picnics, barbecues, bike rides, happy hours and plenty of time together in our courtyard. Whether we were gardening, admiring the flowers or simply enjoying the sunshine, there was always something to look forward to.

We made so many wonderful memories, shared plenty of laughs and made the most of every beautiful day. Thank you to everyone who helped make this summer such a special one!

Last week, we took advantage of the warm September weather and enjoyed another beautiful hike.

This time around, we headed out to Troll Falls! It was a gorgeous day and such a beautiful place to visit with our favourite people.

Another season of Trishaw bike rides is winding down, with just a few more weeks of rides to go! We want to thank Cycling Without Age Canmore and their wonderful volunteers for giving Origin residents another great season on the trails.

Thank you for sharing your time, energy and company with our residents this season. These rides are always a highlight, and we’re grateful to have this program in our community.

From her studio space here at Origin to the mountain landscapes she’s painted countless times over the years, Marilyn’s story is such a beautiful reminder that creativity doesn’t have an age limit. It evolves, grows, and continues to shape the way we experience the world around us.

One of our favourite reflections from Marilyn was this: “When you start painting, you start noticing things.”

And honestly, we think that perspective says a lot about life, too.
