We usually sell just a few young stock to 4H members each year, at a discount because we want to support those young beginning farmers. I think this young farmer is on the right track, look at that polished doeling she raised!!!

We like this buck, we really do. So we only used him on a few select does this year, so we can keep his genetics for next year.
I don't think he concures with that decision!

Currently trying this again. Wonder if we'll get as many sets of triplets as we did last season???

Spotlight on the BUCKLINGS!

They don't all turn out like a herdsperson would like, but there are some nice meaty looking bucklings in this group.

We love playing with numbers!!!
Black & white, measurable statitics means the 'heart' factor is taken out of the equation.

WE HAD A 235% HERD KIDDING PERCENTAGE!!! WOW!!!

I look forward to doing each doe when I get a chance, see if we had any 'slackers'!!

One of my personal pet peeves is sh*tty little hooves in the eating spaces. We work very hard to figure out ways to prevent and discourage feet in the feeders, yet, here she is, with that smug look on her stupid little face.
OK, OK, she's a cute little stinker and she's making me think of how this can be prevented in the future as well.
Looks like we're moving the mineral feeders to another spot.......
