The Government of Canada’s CanExport SMEs program provides up to $50,000 in funding to help Canadian businesses enter new international markets.
The program covers up to 50% of eligible expenses related to:
📍 Market research and feasibility studies
📍 Trade shows and international missions
📍 Travel for partnership and distributor development
📍 Translation and localization
📍 Export marketing and adaptation
📍 IP strategy and regulatory advisry support
You may qualify if your business:
⭐ Is a for-profit Canadian corporation, LLP, or cooperative
⭐ Has 3 to 500 employees
⭐ Generates $300K to $100M in annual revenue
⭐ Is entering a new international market where you have little or no sales
⭐ Can demonstrate meaningful economic benefit to Canada
This is competitive funding. Strong applications are rooted in a clear export strategy, defined outcomes, and realistic market validation plans.

🔹 Ontario Trillium Foundation Capital Grant
Applications open February 4, 2026 and close March 4, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET. This grant supports projects that upgrade buildings, enhance physical spaces, and purchase equipment to help your community thrive.

🔹 RBC Barrier Buster Grants Program
Applications are open now and close March 15, 2026. Through this grant, 40 accessibility improvement grants of up to $40,000 are available to remove physical barriers and make community spaces more inclusive.
