Imagine being a child whose world has suddenly changed. New adults, new routines, new worries. Now imagine being able to go to a grandparent's house, stay with an aunt, or live with someone who has always been part of your life.

That familiar face can mean so much.

Kinship caregivers help children keep some of the things that make them feel like themselves. They know the family stories, the important people, the routines, and sometimes even the comfort foods that make a difficult day a little easier.

Those connections matter. They can help children feel a little more secure when so much else is changing.

Kinship care helps children hold on to the relationships that matter to them. It can mean staying connected to siblings, keeping family traditions, remaining part of their community, and having a familiar face beside them during a difficult time.

This week, Linck celebrates the love, dedication & support Kin Families offer children & youth in . We delivered 90+ meals to families in appreciation of all they do. Thanks to Chatham, and special thanks to Bonnie & Dave for prepping today’s meals!
