Ticks are on the rise! Especially here on the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

Since July 16th, we have had 5 cases of Lyme, and 2 cases of Anaplasmosis.

All of those positives in LESS than a month! 😨

The early general signs of tick-borne illnesses can include-

🥵Sudden fever

🦴Joint stiffness, lameness & swelling

🤮Vomiting

💩 Diarrhea

🥓 Loss of appetite

😴Lethargy
