This year has gone so fast

Let's set the record straight once and for all! Yes, we absolutely love our country, and no, we don't all commute from an igloo.

Though I will fully admit that bathing in maple syrup sounds like a pretty luxurious spa treatment if we could actually figure out how to pull it off. It’s always hilarious hearing the wild stereotypes people have about life up here. At the end of the day, we wouldn't trade our stylish Mounties or our cherished beavers for anything. It really is a pretty amazing place to call home.

What does it really mean when we say we are proud to be from the True North? 🍁

It's so much more than just wearing red and white or cheering for our favorite hockey teams on a Saturday night. It’s a profound feeling that is stitched right into the fabric of who we are. It’s the quiet resilience we show during those brutally long winters, the genuine, neighborly kindness we offer to complete strangers, and the breathtaking beauty of the wild landscapes we are so incredibly lucky to call our backyard.

From the rugged, salty coastlines of the Maritimes to the towering, snow-capped peaks of the Rockies, this land shapes our spirit. Every time I see the maple leaf, I'm reminded of the incredible diversity, peace, and freedom that we sometimes take for granted. We live in a place where differences are celebrated, where community truly matters, and where a helping hand is never too far away. Let’s never lose sight of how incredibly fortunate we are to call this vast, beautiful country our forever home. 🇨🇦❤️
