Great golf begins long before the first tee time. ⛳️🌱

Arbutus Ridge is officially back open for public play following an extensive aeration program designed to create healthier, more playable surfaces through the winter months.

This year’s work included 3/8-inch mini-core aeration, solid-tine aeration to a five-inch depth, double verticutting and DryJect on the greens. This process helps relieve years of compaction while improving air exchange and drainage. In total, four truckloads of sand were added to the greens, while our fairways also received double verticutting and pencil-tine aeration.

The results are already showing, with the greens rolling at 10 on the Stimpmeter this morning.

None of this happens without an incredibly dedicated team putting in long hours and meticulous work behind the scenes. A heartfelt thank-you to our entire grounds crew for the care, skill and pride you bring to Arbutus Ridge every day.

The course is open and ready to welcome you back. Book your tee time and come enjoy the results for yourself.

Thank a Superintendent Day, and we’re proud to recognize our Superintendent, Jess Atmore, and the entire grounds team at Arbutus Ridge Golf Club.

So much of what makes the course look and play the way it does comes from the work happening behind the scenes every single day.

Thank you, Jess and team, for the care, dedication and countless hours you put into Arbutus Ridge. ⛳️💚
