Happy Alberta Heritage Day! Born and raised right here in this province, I've always been proud to call Alberta home — the people, the landscapes, the small-town values that make places like Cochrane so special. Today's a great reminder of everything that makes Alberta worth celebrating.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful Heritage Day!

My deepest condolences go out to Parker's family and everyone who loved him. This is every family's worst fear, and my heart breaks for them.

I want to thank the Calgary Police Service, Search and Rescue, and every agency who worked tirelessly on this search. Your dedication and professionalism deserve real recognition.

Even from Cochrane, I saw our neighbours in Calgary come together with volunteer hours, posters, and support for this family. It speaks to the kind of communities we are lucky to have across Alberta.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to Parker’s family and loved ones. There is no greater heartbreak than the loss of a child, and I hope they are able to find moments of peace and strength during this unimaginable time.

Thank you to the Calgary Police Service, Search and Rescue, and every agency that played a role in this incredibly complex search. I want to commend your professionalism, dedication, and perseverance throughout this search.

One of our Cochrane neighbours shared this with me recently about the proposed batch plant. What do you think?

This past Monday, Cochrane celebrated its very first official Town Stampede Breakfast at The Station — a fantastic new tradition for our community. Hoping there will be many more in the years to come. Thank you to Mayor Morgan Nagel (.nagel) and Councillors Marni Fedeyko (), Tara McFadden () , and Paul Singh () for all the work that went into hosting such a welcoming event, and to the Cochrane Lions Club () and their volunteers for the incredible breakfast.

Moments like these are what make Cochrane feel like home.

Stampede season is in full swing out here in Cochrane! I stopped by the community pancake breakfast in Fireside Of Cochrane this weekend, grabbed a plate, and spent the morning catching up with neighbours. From the kids' pony rides to the "Happiness Is" pancake sign that says it all, mornings like this are exactly why Cochrane feels like home.

Thanks to everyone who came out and said hi!

A huge congratulations to Mike Derry on his selection as the UCP candidate for Calgary-Shaw!

An entrepreneur, community volunteer, and oil and gas veteran. Mike's practical leadership and dedication to Albertans make him a tremendous addition to our team.

Proud to be part of a party that puts people first. Best of luck, Mike!

Congratulations to Mike Derry, selected by UCP members as our candidate for the Calgary-Shaw by-election.

A Calgary-born entrepreneur, community volunteer, and oil and gas industry veteran, Mike brings the kind of practical leadership and people-first approach that will help Premier Danielle Smith and our team keep getting the job done for Albertans.

Cochrane is full of dads who built this community one day at a time — coaching minor hockey, volunteering at the fire hall pancake breakfast, driving the carpool nobody else wanted.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads who make small-town life feel like home.

Grateful to Riley Stovka and the Cochrane Eagle for covering what we are building here. If you want to know who Mavy is and why he is running for Cochrane & Area, this is a great place to start.

Last night, Cochrane showed up. 🙌

A room full of neighbours, families, business owners, and community members. Seniors, newcomers to the riding, people with questions, ideas, and a real stake in what comes next for Cochrane & Area.

Conversation after conversation, all night long. No speeches. No scripts. Just Mavy pulling up a chair and listening.

The media noticed too. 📰

If you were there, thank you. If you weren't, more events are coming.
