Owner: Benoit Veilleux msw, rsw

Our training system improves an athlete’s performance by training visual and cognitive skills such as peripheral awareness, eye-hand coordination, speed and span of recognition, anticipation timing, depth perception, visual reaction time, concentration, focusing and tracking. Such training is now being used at all pro level sports including NHL teams such as Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, Edmonton Oilers and Detroit Redwings. Other noticeable programs or teams include the Toronto Blue Jays, Edmonton Eskimos, NASCAR, NCAA Athletic departments, IMG Academy, NFL and NBA combines.

(Christina Julien, local Olympic Athlete, on her training with us).

Hey soccer players.

At PHQ, we do a lot more than eye-hand coordination.

Did you know that to be a top-end soccer athlete you need to have outstanding tracking abilities? How about eye-foot coordination and peripheral vision? And, how about being quick at recognizing what's coming at you?

Do you want to feel like the game is slowing down on you?

Listen to our best soccer athlete, Christina Julien, talking about her career and training with us. Don't miss the last 2 minutes of this interview.

If you're looking to get an edge on your competition, PHQ is what you need.

To all hockey players,

Depending on where you're planning to play next season, you have about 12 to 14 weeks of training left before your next season starts (most of you in tryouts).

When it comes to vision and processing skills, this is an ideal window that offers us the opportunity to optimize your game.

Looking to improve your shot accuracy, your anticipation and timing, win more face offs, be alert in traffic, prevent concussions, improve your save percentage, etc.

Do like many of our local elite players and take advantage of the most advanced training equipment in the game today.

Below is Tylor Spink doing a "stick run", in his first month of training with us, in July 2012.

Thrilled to announce that Grant Hebert, Cumberland Grads CCHL, has joined our group of athletes.

Looking forward to a great summer of training and skills development.

Like Grant and many other local athletes, you want to bring your game to the next level, don't wait any longer.

See it, Think it, Do it... Faster.

Thumbs up to 14 years old Gabrielle Davidson Adams who completed two record runs tonight topping all athletes (any age group).

She turned off 172 lights in a mid (inner) A run, and 147 on a full board A run. She's also holding the record for 4 minutes A run, with a 549.

Gabi is a local female hockey player who completed her first year at Ontario Hockey Academy. She's been training with us for 3 years.

Very proud of your growth and improvement over the years.

Time to challenge Gabi's records. Get in touch with me to book your appointment.

Getting ready for kumite kickboxing and worlds. Emily Vallance in action turning off lights as she's working on her time reaction and eye skills. The girl is good. See it... Think it... Do it... Faster.

Can training the eyes help prevent concussions? 02/05/2015

Great news clip on how visual training reduces the risk of concussions on top of giving you an edge in the game ...

Can training the eyes help prevent concussions? In the past five years, WKYC has devoted more air time and digital space to the issue of concussions, than any other youth health story.
