Have you seen the progress on site at the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) new Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School? 👀🏗️

With piling complete, work continues to move forward with civil site works, rebar installation, and the forming of grade beams underway.

We had a great day yesterday at Cornwall Golf & Country Club, celebrating the tremendous work from some of our valued subcontractors from the Hive Private Residence project in Kingston. We are proud to work alongside such dedicated partners!

Maxville Manor Progress Update ✨

A portion of phase 1 is now complete, with the temporary main entrance, landscaping, parking lot, IT room and basement finished.

Work continues on the remaining phase 1 areas, including the new kitchen, electrical room, staff lounge, washrooms and housekeeping areas.

Phase 2 is also underway with construction of a new two-storey addition featuring 64 beds, four spa rooms, office spaces and an elevator.

Congratulations to our very own Audrée van den Oetelaar, who took on the Fireball Enduro at Cornwall Motor Speedway this past weekend!

Audrée fixed up a 2007 Pontiac Montana and painted it to match Bourgon's signature look before hitting the track in the Men's Van Class!

Meet Pat LeBlanc, one of Bourgon's Project Managers in Kingston. Pat has been with the company for over 10 years and was the Project Manager on our most recently completed project, The Hive Private Residence at 390 Johnson Street in Kingston.

Off-site, Pat enjoys spending time with his wife, Olivia, their two sons and their dog, Murphy!

✨50th Anniversary Milestone ✨

Cornwall Public Library.

Completed in 1997, this 70,000 sq.ft. project involved a complete retrofit of a post office to a state-of-the-art public library. Work involved a new elevator, staircases, securing and repointing of exterior stone veneer, roofing and extensive millwork.

As schools welcome back students this week and last week, we are excited to share site progress photos of the four current schools we are working on. The new Cornwall Secondary School, Fernbank North Catholic Elementary School (Kanata), St. Gregory Catholic Elementary School (Picton), and JJ O’Neill Catholic Elementary School (Napanee).

Yesterday, we took part in the annual General Contractors Association of Ottawa (GCAO) Golf tournament. ⛳

It was a great day on the course, catching up with familiar faces and connecting with other GCs in Ottawa.

Thanks to the GCAO for putting together a fantastic tournament!

Welcome to the new residents of The Hive, a private residence located in the heart of Queen's University campus in Kingston. The building features 45 residential units with a total of 120 bedrooms, including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and four-bedroom layouts. Additional features include a ground-floor library and quiet study room, rooftop amenity space and green roof, 16 parking spaces, and 28 bicycle parking spaces.
