Briar is a stunning gal, full of love and energy. She's hanging out with the crew at Global Pet Foods in the Kingsview Market (Airdrie). Don't wait to meet this adorable girl.

A few faces are making their debuts.

Tang & Koolaid are 2 gingers who'd love a family of their own. Head over to PetValu in Coopers Crossing (Airdrie) and get some kitten snuggles in.

Over at Pet Planet in Sierra Springs (Airdrie) Gogurt and Rotini are making sure to get noticed. A beautiful snowy white offset with a dapper tuxedo.

Mother Nature definitely didn’t get the memo that Saturday was supposed to be carnival weather! 😂

It was cold. It was rainy. There were umbrellas everywhere…And yet YOU STILL SHOWED UP. 🥹💛

Our little Tails to Tell Mini Carnival may have been a little damp, but the warmth from our community more than made up for it.

The kids played games, collected tickets and traded them in for prizes, got adorable temporary face tattoos, bounced, and enjoyed BBQ hamburgers, cotton candy and popcorn. 🎪🍔🍭🍿

And behind it all were some pretty amazing people.

A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers — including those who stood under umbrellas helping with games! ☔️🐾

Thank you to our BBQ master Phil, our fundraising committee, and everyone who helped make the day happen.

💕 TWO SENIORS. ONE VERY SPECIAL FOREVER HOME. 🐾

Some love stories have been years in the making.

Meet Ram & Ramette — two 9-year-old siblings who have spent their entire lives together. They’ve shared naps, playtime, grooming sessions, sunny spots, and all the little moments that make a life together. 💛

And now they’re hoping for one more chapter.

These two aren’t looking for a busy life filled with adventure. They’re looking for something much simpler and, perhaps, much more meaningful:

🐾 A quiet retirement home.
🐾 A cozy place to nap.
🐾 Someone to love them.
🐾 And lots of time to simply enjoy each other’s company. 🥹

Ram is the outgoing brother — friendly, affectionate, and always ready for attention. If there’s a lap available, he’s probably already planning his route onto it! 😹

Ramette is his gentler, quieter counterpart. She likes life at a slower pace and enjoys affection once she feels comfortable. Together, they balance each other beautifully.

And this is why we would LOVE to see them find their forever home through our Seniors for Seniors program.

Our program pairs senior humans with senior cats looking for companionship. Tails to Tell provides their food, litter, supplies, toys, veterinary and medical care, and ongoing support.

Imagine coming home to two familiar faces waiting for you. Two little personalities keeping you company. Two warm bodies curled up together nearby.

They’ve spent nine years looking out for each other.

Now they just need someone who will make room for both of them. 💕

🚨🐾 EMERGENCY INTAKES — OUR TINIEST RESCUES NEED YOU 🐾🚨

Sometimes rescue arrives in the smallest possible packages.

Just a little while ago, we received four tiny kittens who were just TWO DAYS OLD. A mama cat had appeared on a homeowner’s deck and given birth to her babies. Sadly, she left and hasn’t been seen for two days.

So these four little lives are now in our care. 💛

At just two days old, they need around-the-clock bottle feeding with KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer), warmth, monitoring, and lots of love. They are completely dependent on us right now.

And they aren’t the only kittens needing help.

We’ve seen another wave of kitten season arrive, with more little ones coming through our doors and into foster care. We couldn't say no as these kittens need somewhere safe to go… but every intake also comes with very real expenses.

KMR.
Veterinary care.
Medications.
Supplies.
And everything these growing little bodies need to have a chance at a healthy future.

Our finances are taking a hit, and we’re asking our amazing community for a little help. ❤️

We have a female cat from the City of Airdrie who does have a tattoo in her ear. Unfortunately, we are unable to trace it, but it is probably from out of province.

Friendly Reminder: Any cats not claimed within 3 days (10 days if they have a microchip or tattoo) will become part the Tails To Tell family and may be getting ready for their forever homes.
