Due to the uncertain weather, my gig at Pat Quinn's Restaurant & Bar at 5 pm has been moved inside to the lounge! Still the same time and place, just a lot less windy 😉 Hope to see some folks here!

Happy Birthday to the great Roger Dean, one of THE all-time definitive visual artists of the rock album era!! (And also a classmate of my Dad's, small world 😁)

It's been a very busy summer of gigs, and it ain't over yet! Tomorrow I will be doing another private show with my dad Gerry, then Friday the 4th of September (Labour Day Weekend!) I am back at Pat Quinn's Restaurant & Bar on their Fairway Patio one final time to round off the summer! In between all of this, I've been preparing and rehearsing for my annual Oktoberfest jaunt with The Gordanairs Musik - we play the Mount Angel Oktoberfest Kickoff Party on Sept. 12th, then rejoin the festivities for the full Oktoberfest weekend from the 17th to the 20th! What a blast it'll be 😄 Maybe my little boy will get up and play with the band again!
Here's a video from a few weeks back at Beach Grove Golf Club - I tried "winging it" on a song I haven't really sung before and it more or less worked out! (Apologies for the background chatter)

Who knows what the weather will bring... Let's find out, I'm playing the fairway patio at Pat Quinn's Restaurant & Bar in just under an hour! 5-7, come enjoy some drinks, appies, dinner and fresh air! Oh, and some decent music too 😎

Happy 90th birthday to Buddy Guy, one of the first blues players to REALLY crank up and make eardrums bleed!! 😆 There would be no Clapton or Hendrix without him!
I was lucky to see him about a decade back and even in his later years he can still shred!

I may not have posted much in the last while, but I promise I have been busy playing! (Just mostly private gigs, so I don't see much point in telling folks about a show they can't come to) 😆
Four more in the next two weeks: tomorrow afternoon AND Sunday evening (both private), then back at Pat Quinn's on Saturday July 25th and Sat August 1st, from 5-7 on the patio 😊 see you there?
