Living in West Grey County is something not everyone understands — we’re only two hours from the hubbub of the city - Toronto, ON, Canada - but it feels like an entirely different world. Out here, you breathe a little deeper, slow down a little more, and find freedom in the simplest moments.
Take my “third dog,” for example - a retired mare over the age of 30 now who insists on living her best life right alongside the real dogs. She wanders, explores, greets us when we come home, and stays close to the barn and house like she’s part of the pack. Honestly, I think she’s happier for it… and so am I.
Life here is unique, a little wild, and completely mine. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🤍❄️🐴🐾
