Introducing something a little different from Made Again.

I wanted to step outside of my usual style and get a little more creative with this one. This jacket features a hood, three-quarter sleeves, and a completely different silhouette and feel than my usual pieces. It’s a new vibe for Made Again, but one that I really enjoyed creating.

This one, however, means a little more to me.

I started making this jacket while my mom was still here. I remember telling her about it, just like I would with so many of my creations. She was always one of the first people I wanted to show whenever I finished something new. I would tell her about what I was working on, show her the details, and share in the excitement of creating something new.

But I never got the chance to finish this one and show her the final piece.
So this jacket is dedicated to her.

My mom’s favourite scripture was Romans 8:38–39, reminding us that nothing can separate us from the love of God. That truth inspired the name of this jacket: NOTHING.

Nothing can separate us from His love.
Not life or death.
And even though I can no longer show my mom my newest creations the way I used to, the love and influence she poured into me will always remain.

This one is for you, Mom. 🤍

This interview is about how my sewing journey began, but I couldn’t tell that story without talking about my mom.

My mom was the eldest member of Made Again. She believed in me before I really knew where this journey would take me. She helped me sell my very first jacket, taught me so much about business simply by watching her be a businesswoman, and supported Made Again in all the little ways that meant so much.
She washed jeans. She folded denim. She helped behind the scenes. She always asked about my latest creation and listened to every Made Again adventure, no matter how big or small.
She believed in what I was building.

My mom has passed away, but I know she is with the Lord, part of that great cloud of witnesses, still cheering me on. I like to think that every new creation, every market, every new step with Made Again gives her another reason to smile.

Her fingerprints are still all over this journey. So much of what I learned from her goes beyond sewing or business. She taught me what it looks like to believe in someone, to show up, to work hard, and to support the things they love.
Made Again carries a piece of her with it.

Thank you for believing in me from the very beginning, Mom. I’ll keep creating, building, and carrying what you taught me forward — knowing that one day, I’ll see you again. 🤍🕊️

Thank you to the journalism students for interviewing Made Again’s journey 💫

Looking back over the last two years of Made Again, I feel incredibly grateful.💙

Made Again started with an idea, a sewing machine, and a lot of faith. I’ve been the creator, designer, and sewer behind each piece, but I know I could never have built this on my own.

There is a team behind Made Again that has helped bring my ideas to life in so many ways — from building and managing the website, helping with Instagram, setting up and working markets, photography, modelling, packaging, brainstorming, and all the little things that happen behind the scenes that most people never see.

To my Made Again team: thank you. Thank you for believing in my vision, giving your time, showing up, and helping me carry this dream. So many of these memories would not exist without you, and I genuinely couldn’t have done this without you.

Looking back at these photos and memories is such a special reminder of how far Made Again has come. I’m so thankful for every person who has been part of the journey, supported the brand, purchased a piece, shared a post, or encouraged me along the way.

God has been so faithful through every season, and I’m excited to see where He takes Made Again next.

From me, thank you for helping me build this.
From the Made Again team, we thank you for being part of the journey.

Happy Canada Day! 🍁

These pieces are a little different.

Instead of creating something entirely new, I added to existing pieces with handcrafted maple leaves that I sewed in place.

The leaves represent Canada as a healing nation, inspired by Revelation 22:2: “The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

My prayer is that our nation would be marked by God’s healing, restoration, and hope—that we would reflect His love and be a light to the nations.

Just as these pieces have been renewed, I’m reminded that God is always in the business of making things beautiful again.

This custom vest was created for a new dad—There’s something so special about creating wearable pieces that carry meaning, memories, and love.

To the fathers who lead, support, encourage, and show up day after day: today we celebrate you.

Happy Father’s Day from Made Again. 💙
