March is my birthday month, and tonight my daughter surprised me by taking our whole family to see a new movie “Project Hail Mary. “ The movie was wonderful, but what moved me most wasn’t the story on the screen — it was sitting there with the people I love, all together, sharing a moment I didn’t realize I’d been missing so much.
Life gets busy, and I honestly can’t remember the last time we watched a movie as a family. Tonight reminded me how deeply grateful I am for their love, their support, and the way they show up for me in quiet, meaningful ways. My heart feels full. ❤️🌺

I am extremely grateful to have received so much support from many generous constituents and local business during the 2025 municipal election campaign.
Following the campaign completion, remaining funds now have been donated to the Edmonton Food Bank to continue supporting our community.
The Edmonton Food Bank is far more than a food hamper service, it is a critical community hub supporting tens of thousands of people every month.
A few important facts:
✅ The Edmonton Food Bank serves approximately 40,000–45,000 people each month
✅ Roughly 35–40% are children
✅ Distributes hundreds of thousands of meals and snacks monthly
✅ Works with 300+ agencies, schools, and community organizations across Edmonton
✅ Operates without core ongoing government funding, relying heavily on donations
✅ Offers wraparound supports, including employment assistance, financial literacy, education upgrading, and housing guidance
✅ Supports accessible food programs and community initiatives beyond emergency hampers
For many households, this is not occasional support - it is essential.
If you are able, I encourage you to consider donating to the Edmonton Food Bank. Whether through financial contributions, food donations, or volunterring in their many community initiatives, every action helps.
To everyone who supported the campaign: thank you. Your generosity continues to make a real and lasting difference in our community and our city.
