Over time, we recognized a critical gap between hospital discharge and long-term residential care.
Founded in 2021 as RYAAA Respite Care Inc., our journey began with a simple but powerful mission — to provide compassionate, community-based in-home care to individuals and families in need of daily support. Many individuals were returning home without adequate transitional support, increasing the risk of readmission or delayed recovery. In direct response to this need, we evolved our services beyond traditional in-home care and launched NewStep Transitional Homes in 2025 (registered in 2021). This innovative model provides safe, supportive living environments designed to bridge the gap between hospital stays and permanent housing or long-term care. Today, NewStep stands as a trusted partner in recovery and transition, empowering individuals to regain independence, stability, and a sense of community — one step at a time.
