Weather permitting, Terwillegar Community League, with the support of the Government of Canada, will be hosting their annual Canada Day event in Tomlinson Park from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Then from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., you can take in the festivities at the Southwest Edmonton Farmers' Market in Lot E of the Booster Juice Recreation Centre in Terwillegar.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy day!

In October 1999, I remember watching the shocking news about the Whitemud Road Landslide with my dad, a soil scientist. I was just 17 at the time.

City crews will be doing work in the area to restore access for monitoring and maintenance at the site of the landslide.
