Our crew started site layout operations on a residential project here in Edmonton. Before we bring in the skid steers or dump the first load of crushed gravel, we map the entire footprint manually.

As shown, we set green metal stakes and pull bright string lines to mark out the exact boundaries. Then we use a speed square at every critical intersection to guarantee a perfect 90-degree angle.
