Urgent volunteer driver needed - we have a sweet kitten who needs pick up from Edmonton Animal Control by 6pm today, heading to the Windermere area. Please send us a DM if you can help, we would be eternally grateful!

Mira is the sweetest little combination of cuddle bug and tiny troublemaker, and she’s available for pre-adoption!

Mira is extremely affectionate, easygoing, and perfectly happy being scooped up and carried around however you please.

She’s also a confident little girl who can entertain herself, but she absolutely loves playing with other cats too. Her current favourites are ball tracks, her squeaky mouse, and turning the pet fountain into her own personal splash pad.

Her $175 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines and microchip. We would love for her to go to a home with a cat friend, and she would do great with older kiddos. We’re unsure of her history with dogs, but she would likely adapt to a calm, cat social dog with proper introductions.

Mama Evie is exactly the kind of cat your support helps us say yes to.

By the time Animal Protection Officers rescued her from a tough situation, it was pretty clear this little mama had been surviving for a long time. She had only recently finished nursing kittens, and severe, recurring ear mites had left one of her ears permanently crumpled into a little cauliflower ear. On top of everything else, she was also dealing with a painful rodent ulcer on her upper lip that the team at Animal Control wasn’t able to treat there.

We were so grateful for the opportunity to take over her care, and to get her in to see the wonderful Dr. Boctor at Windermere Vet today. She’s started on a course of steroids that should clear her sore mouth up nicely, and help her finally move on to the rest & best part of her life.

Rodent ulcers are an auto immune response and not contagious. Although there is a small possibility that it could flare up again in the future, under normal circumstances in a happy and healthy home, it would be caught early and easy to treat. For now we’re so happy that it is treatable and that she is already feeling so much better.

Evie seems pretty thrilled about her new life already. She’s playing with toys, absolutely inhaling her wet food, and settling in like she knows the hard part is finally behind her.

Mama Evie should be ready for adoption in a few weeks, so stay tuned for updates on this very deserving girl.

The only thing majestic ginger floof Sprout would love more than these warm sunbeams to last forever, is a forever family to call his own!

Sprout is the very best kitten you could ask for. He’s been such a trooper being held back from the rest of his litter when they were adopted to keep our sweet girl Friday company. She’s continuing to grow and thrive, but needs a little more time with us. So it’s time for this angel boy to spread his wings and move on!

Sprout is extremely cat social and affectionate. He must be adopted to home with at least one friendly kitty playmate willing to wrestle, play tag, and snuggle with him. He can be a little bit timid with strangers, so a home with older kids and no dogs would be the best. He is a bit of a picky eater, and on a slightly higher-quality canned food, but the joy and endless giggles he’ll bring to your life are so worth the trade!

Sprout is approximately 5.5 months old, neutered, vaccinated and chipped and ready to go home for $175. The family that brings his sweetheart home will truly be the luckiest! Don’t miss your chance 🥰

Striking 1-year-old torbie Âmî is as lovely as she is beautiful, and she’s our new in-store ambassador at Pet Valu Emerald Hills. Âmî is super friendly, social, chatty, and always seems to have a few stories to tell.

She’s great with kids over 5, and would be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as the only pet in her new home. That said, she did come from a multi-cat home and can share her space with another friendly, respectful kitty.

Her favourite things include watching the world go by from the window, curling up for naps in the sunshine, and keeping her people company.

Âmî is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to head home for an adoption fee of just $125.

Our handsome house panther Barry is still waiting for his happily ever after!

Barry is 6 years old, wonderfully chunky, and the kind of guy who likes to take a visit or 2 to make sure you’ve passed his vibe check. He may greet new people with a few cautious grumbles, but once he decides you’re safe, a completely different Barry comes out! A rolly polly affectionate, sweet, and very happy to soak up attention kitty is under that tough exterior.

Barry was declawed before coming into our care, which may explain some of his initial uncertainty in new situations. The good news is that he is extremely food motivated, and treats are a very effective way to make friends. His personal favourite’ is Fancy Feast with gravy AND cheese, only the best for this guy!

Barry would be happiest in a calm, adult-only home where he won’t be rushed and can settle in on his own terms. Ideally, he’d also love to be your one-and-only pet so he can enjoy all the attention for himself, but he is tolerant of calm, friendly cats who respect his space.

Barry is vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find his forever family. Thanks to a generous sponsor, his adoption fee is completely covered!

This sweet girl has had a bit of a rough go. She was attacked by a fox last year, and while she’s healed well thanks to the love and attention of her caretaker, she was left with some mobility challenges.

Cheryl can’t jump, climb, or use a ramp, but otherwise she is a happy, gentle, sweet little chicken who just wants to enjoy her life.

Because she can’t easily get in and out of a traditional coop, winter is going to be especially difficult for her. We would love to find her a warm, caring home where everything can be set up at ground level and she can be safe, comfortable and thoroughly spoiled.

Cheryl really is a lovely little lady, and deserves a soft place to land.
