InterVivos

It's been over two months since we launched our Summer 2026 Mentorship Program, and we're still thinking about the little moments that made the evening so special. They're the moments that remind us mentorship is built on community, generosity, and people choosing to invest in one another.

Swipe through to revisit a few of the moments that have stayed with us. 🤍

As we prepare to welcome new Nonprofit Board Internship (NPBI) students, we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank our 2025–2026 board interns, Elsie Osei and Lisa G***k, for an incredible year with interVivos.

Over the past year, Elsie and Lisa brought curiosity, thoughtfulness, and fresh perspectives to our Board of Directors. From contributing to governance discussions to supporting community engagement initiatives, they embraced every opportunity to learn while making meaningful contributions to our organization.

These photos are from their NPBI graduation celebration a few months ago, marking the completion of a rewarding year of learning and leadership.

Thank you, Elsie and Lisa, for your dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to building stronger communities. We wish you both continued success in whatever comes next, and we know you'll continue making a positive impact wherever you go.

Congratulations again, and thank you for being part of the interVivos community! 💙

Strikes, spares, pizza, and plenty of laughs! 🎳🍕✨

Our board and volunteers recently came together for our annual social at Plaza Bowling Co. It was a fun evening of friendly competition, team bonding, and celebrating the incredible people who help make interVivos possible. ❤️

A big thank you to Plaza Bowl for hosting us and helping make the evening such a great time. We also enjoyed some delicious Tony’s Pizza to keep everyone fuelled between frames!

We may not all be professional bowlers, but we make a pretty great team. 🙌

Another day, another interVivos adventure on the road! 🚗✨

We had a great time at the Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations Volunteer Fair at West Edmonton Mall, connecting with community members, meeting prospective volunteers and sharing more about interVivos and the work we do.

We were also thrilled to welcome a special visitor to our table, Edmonton Mayor Andrew Knack! Thank you for stopping by and showing your support for Edmonton’s vibrant volunteer and non-profit community. ❤️

We always enjoy getting out into the community, making new connections and sharing opportunities to get involved. Thanks to ECVO for bringing Edmonton’s volunteer community together!

We took our volunteer spirit on the road! 🚗✨

We were pleased to take part in the YEG CPA Alberta Ambassadors Volunteer Fair, connecting with community members interested in giving back and making a difference.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about our volunteer opportunities. We enjoyed meeting so many passionate people and sharing how volunteers help strengthen our programs and community impact.

A special thank you to our Summer 2026 Mentorship Program sponsors! ❤️

Your generosity and support help create opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, and community connection across Edmonton.
