📢 Attention Clients – Upcoming Driver's License & ID Card Service Outage 📢

As you may have heard, the Government of Alberta has announced changes to Alberta driver's licenses and identification cards. To support these updates, there will be a temporary system outage affecting all registry offices.

⏰ Service Outage
From June 28 at 6:30 p.m. until the early morning of July 2, we will be unable to process any Driver's License or Identification Card services, including:

✅ First-time applications
✅ Renewals
✅ Replacements
✅ Exchanges
✅ Reclassifications

🚗 Road Tests
Road tests may still be available during this period. However, if you successfully pass a road test, you will not be able to receive your new license until you return to the registry on or after July 2.

Important: Until your new license has been issued, you cannot legally operate a vehicle independently under the new license class.

⚠️ Additional Road Test Booking Restriction
Road tests cannot be booked on June 30 from 1:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. due to a province-wide system outage.

We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage clients who require Driver's License or ID Card services to plan accordingly.

If you have any questions, please contact our office. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 🚘💳
