We're one of the largest Gypsy Cob ranches in Canada. River Lane Ranch is owned and operated by the Baird family. The ranch is located on the banks of the North Saskatchewan river in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. They breed, train and show Gypsy Cob horses. They strive for excellence and the traditional Gypsy Cob type thats been bred in England by the Romany Gypsies for hundreds of years. There is occasionally trained riding horses available, along with foals each year that are looking for soulmate and/or show homes. We have news!!!
It’s safe to say that Jessica was absolutely over the moon when Spencer asked her to begin their forever together. 💍❤️
Of course, Spencer did everything right…he spoke with Mom and Dad, talked with the family and the kids, and made sure he had everyone’s blessing before the big moment.
Jessica was out training horses and simply thought Spencer was coming by to watch for a little while.
Little did she know, her life was about to change forever. ❤️
Congratulations, Jess and Spencer! We couldn’t be happier for you both. May this next chapter be filled with a lifetime of love, laughter, adventure, and all the happiness your hearts can hold.

So many of our guests arrive at River Lane Ranch with a camera in hand, and we absolutely love seeing our ranch through their eyes.
From the horses and dogs to our family, the beautiful scenery, and all the little moments in between…every guest captures something unique and special. ❤️

The weekend isn’t even over yet, and we’re not quite sure where to begin…
Meeting our guests and welcoming them into our lives here at River Lane Ranch is truly an incredible experience.
From teaching them how we start our young horses, to trail rides, roping, braiding and bathing…and, of course, a few games of bingo, crafts, beautiful nature walks, great food and plenty of laughter in between…these weekends are filled with everything we love most. ❤️
We feel so blessed to share our ranch, so proud to share our horses, and absolutely thrilled to see our guests having such a wonderful time.
We now have only a few spots remaining for 2027!
