Apprentice Plumber

Auburn Rentals is currently hiring 2nd and 3rd year apprentice plumbers to join our team. Edmonton based business that manufactures Executive Relocatable Structures in a manufacturing facility with a high standard of quality and pride in all our builds.

Resposibilities
• New plumbing rough ins
• Completions in kitchens, baths, utilities
• Fixture installs
• Propane Gas line services to stoves, furnaces, on-demand hotwater heaters
• Collaborate with design team, construction, other trades to ensure proper installs
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams to plan and complete work
• Maintain, clean, organize work areas and clean up as you move on.
• Follow companies HSE policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate log sheets of work performed, additional materials used and any rework.
• Work performed under the guidance of a Journeyman plumber-gasfitter.
Qualifications
• Registered 2nd or 3rd year Plumbing Apprentice
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Clean Criminal Record
• Knowledge of residential plumbing and gas fitting
• Ability to manage time across multiple units at once
• Operate relevent tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to punctuality

3. Carpenters
• Construct and install structures made of wood or other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Measure and cut materials.
• Install doors, windows, and cabinetry.
• Able to lift heavy loads (50lbs)
• Experience with power and air tools

4. Welders:
• Join metal pieces using welding techniques.
• Interpret welding symbols and blueprints.
• Inspect and maintain welding equipment.
• Ensure safety measures during welding processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Able to lift heavy loads (50lbs)

5. Exterior Finishers:
• Applying and finishing exterior wall surfaces.
• The specific requirements for this role can vary depending on factors such as location, employer, and the nature of the projects.

6. Cabinet Makers:
• Read and interpret design plans, blueprints, or sketches to understand the specifications of the cabinets or furniture being constructed.
• Select appropriate materials, including various types of wood, veneers, laminates, and hardware, based on the project requirements.
• Measure and mark materials for cutting, ensuring precision and accuracy in the dimensions.
• Use woodworking tools such as saws, routers, and drills to cut and shape wood components.
• Construct and install structures made of wood or other materials.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend Henri Morrisette, who passed away on October 24, 2022. Henri passed away unexpectedly, and we will all miss him more than words can express, our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

Henri’s service will be November 7th, 2022 @ 11:00am at the Holy Trinity Church, 200 Veterans Blvd in Spruce Grove Alberta for those wishing to attend.
