⏰ BIG CHANGE FOR ALBERTA! No more changing the clocks!
Starting this November, Alberta will officially stop the twice-a-year clock changes and remain on Alberta Time (UTC−6) year-round. That means when November arrives, we won’t “fall back” by one hour.
For Edmonton, Calgary and communities across the province, say goodbye to:

We stopped by Basha Donair & Shawarma NorthEast Edmonton and tried some of their recommendations, while the kids obviously went for chicken and fries. 😂
The donair and donair poutine were definitely my favourites, especially that poutine! The chicken shawarma platter was seasoned differently than any I've had before, and the burger had an interesting BBQ and sweet sauce combo.
They also have a different special every day of the week, so there's always something to check out!

Thai Avenue Restaurant did NOT disappoint. 🇹🇭🤤
We came back and tried a little bit of everything - Gold Bags, Khao Soi, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Thai Sweet Pork Jerky, plus a Thai Iced Tea and Orange Pineapple to drink!
Everything was SO good, but the Khao Soi was easily my favourite. So rich, creamy and full of flavour! 😍
And you can't leave without dessert. The Roti Rolls with condensed milk were the perfect sweet ending.
