After a five year wait due to many delays with Immigration Canada, COVID, etc., Humanserve has just been informed by IRCC that the Syrian family that we are sponsoring for resettlement in Canada will arrive in Edmonton on October 14, 2021. So, given only a 2 week notice, we have a LOT of work to do, including finding a house to rent for 7 people (mom, dad and 5 boys)!!! Now that we finally have confirmation that they are coming, I invite you to visit our website to learn how you, your friends and family can provide assistance, such as in-kind donations of household essentials or a cash donation (tax receipts will be issued). You can find all the info here: http://humanserve.org/familyresettlement.html Thank-you!
