Some of life's biggest lessons can be understood through the simplest stories.

Join us at Tales & Taste Festival 2026 as we explore this year's theme:

Brave Voices, Bold Stories
✨ "Tell It To Me Like I'm 5." ✨

This year, we're using storytelling to explore bullying, confidence, identity, belonging, and resilience through simple yet powerful narratives that inspire understanding, connection, and healing.

Through spoken word, poetry, books, food, dance, and community, we'll create space for brave voices and bold stories that deserve to be heard.

We had an amazing time celebrating TCLI Foundation’s 7 years anniversary.
We reviewed our about, mission, vision, where we currently are, and what the future holds.
We also reflected on how the TCLI Brand is 13 YEARS!!!! But TCLI Foundation is 7 years in Canada.
The TCLI Brand is global and we continue to close community gaps serving underserved groups towards an equitable system.

It meant a lot to have you all present and two speakers that reflect our core: empowerment, impact, financial stability.

While showed us the importance of authenticity, responsibility of common good not just for ourselves but to others, showed us how to file taxes with AI.

Lots of questions asked and the exploration of responsible technology including AI, as individuals but more importantly with children.

We closed off noting the importance of both technology and AI but parents still have the duty of responsible parenting, likewise individuals the responsibility of authenticity and honesty.

AI and technology are here to augment not eliminate.

Dennis understands what it means to struggle, both as an individual and as an immigrant. His journey is one of resilience, authenticity, and intentional growth, building not just a successful career, but a thriving community along the way.

Who better to speak on resilience than someone who has truly lived it?

He brings a vibrant, magnetic energy that draws people in. His signature colorful glasses are more than a style choice—they reflect his bold, unapologetic approach to life and business.

As a leader, Dennis leads with empathy and connection, grounded in the belief that real success is built on relationships. He inspires others to show up as their full selves and to lead with heart, creating spaces where people and ideas can truly thrive.

Food is more than nourishment; it carries culture, memory, and identity. 🍲

Our Voices for Change brings community members together over a shared meal to have honest conversations about culture, belonging, and the realities many racialized youth and families face when it comes to food.

From intergenerational knowledge-sharing to discussions about the subtle pressures people experience when bringing cultural foods into workplaces or public spaces, these conversations highlight how access, affordability, and social attitudes can shape food security and a sense of belonging.

By creating a welcoming space for dialogue, storytelling, and shared meals, Our Voices for Change celebrates cultural pride while raising awareness about the barriers that still exist and how communities can work together toward dignity, inclusion, and equitable access to culturally meaningful food.
