On Sept. 24, EPL will host a screening of s-yéwyáw / AWAKEN, followed by a discussion with Elder Terry ""Coyote"" Aleck. Together, we'll explore stories of culture, resilience, healing and connection.

Throughout the month, a tipi will be raised at Stanley A. Milner Library as a visible space for contemplation and connection.

On Thursday, Sept. 24, join us at Milner Library for a special screening of s-yéwyáw / AWAKEN, a documentary following Indigenous multimedia changemakers as they draw on the wisdome of their Elders while exploring culture, resilience, healing and homecoming.

Following the screening, Elder Terry “Coyote” Aleck will join us for a conversation about his experience bringing this project to life.
