What a ride it’s been! 11 years ago we decided to do two things - expand our young family and open up our first business.

This blue box on wheels has taken us a lot of places over the years from its island roots in Victoria to its prairie home in Edmonton but more memorable then the places we’ve been, are the people we got to meet!  (My kids love that I cooked for Ice Cube and the Edmonton Oilers!)

We have been blessed with a supportive and loyal client base along with incredible staff over the years. The truck has helped us raise our girls while springboarding us into our brick and mortar brands of Toast Culture and Birch & Bear Pizza.  While we love our restaurants , spring was always exciting as we prepped the truck to hit the streets and festivals.

Now the time has come for us to pass the torch!

While we shift our focus to further expansion of Birch & Bear, we will be happily handing over the Coast Lunch Box brand to Vikram & Manasi. We’re really excited for them to be taking over operation of the truck for many more great years in YEG! We know the it’s in good hands 🙏.
