Officially Adopted – Bruno!

What started as a foster placement quickly became something much more.

From the moment Bruno arrived, he settled in beautifully. He embraced his new routine, loved his daily walks, enjoyed every opportunity to sniff and explore, and quickly won over his foster family with his sweet personality and eagerness to learn.

It didn’t take long for everyone to realize that Bruno had already found exactly where he belonged.

Today, we’re thrilled to announce that Bruno has officially been adopted by his foster family!

Thank you to his amazing adopters for opening your hearts and giving Bruno the forever home he deserves. We can’t wait to follow his adventures and watch him continue to thrive.

Congratulations, Bruno! Once a DRY dog, always a DRY dog.

Officially Adopted: Bernie!

From the moment Bernie arrived, she settled beautifully into her foster home. Her goofy personality shone through, she formed a wonderful bond with the kids, and it was clear she had found where she belonged.

After completing her vet care, spay surgery, and recovery, we’re thrilled to announce that Bernie is officially adopted!

A heartfelt thank you to Bernie’s previous family for making the selfless decision to put her needs first. Thank you to Chris for volunteering his time to safely drive Bernie from Grande Prairie to Edmonton. And thank you to her foster-now-forever family for opening your hearts and home to this beautiful girl.

It truly takes a village to change a dog’s life, and because of this amazing community, Bernie has the forever home she deserves.

Congratulations, Bernie! Wishing you a lifetime of love, adventures, and happiness.

Incoming to DRY: Gracie

Please welcome Gracie, a 6-year-old, 37 lb Mini Labradoodle.

Gracie is coming to DRY due to changes in her family’s work schedules and circumstances. This difficult decision was made out of love, knowing she deserves more time, companionship, and attention than they can currently provide.

She is affectionate, people-loving, crate trained, house trained, hypoallergenic, and knows several cues. We’ll get to know her even better during her foster stay.

Gracie’s ideal home:
• Someone home most of the day
• A family that can give her lots of love and attention
• Preferably as the only pet until we know more about her
• A patient family willing to continue building her confidence
• Enjoys having a loyal companion by their side

Welcome to DRY, Gracie.

Please submit a foster application form to foster Gracie or dm if you have submitted an application before.

Incoming to DRY – Meet Freya

Everyone, say hello to Freya, a beautiful 2-year-old Goldendoodle who will soon be joining the DRY family.

Freya has been through a lot recently and is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves people, knows several basic cues, takes treats gently, and enjoys being close to her humans.

Freya has been struggling with interactions with other dogs. We’ll be taking the time to let her decompress, assess her behaviour in a home environment, and help her build confidence through positive reinforcement and patience.

At this stage, we’re looking for an experienced foster home that can provide:
🐾 A calm, structured environment
🐾 An adult-only (or older teen) household
🐾 No resident dogs, so she can fully decompress
🐾 Daily walks, enrichment, and gentle guidance
🐾 A commitment to positive reinforcement training

We look forward to getting to know the real Freya and giving her every opportunity to thrive.

If you think you could foster this lovely girl, please submit a foster application through our website, or send us a DM if you’ve already applied.

Welcome to DRY, Freya. Your new chapter starts here.

🐾 Family willing to continue positive reinforcement training and provide structure
🐾 Someone who understands that he can be selective around unfamiliar dogs especially small yappy dogs and protective of his home

Reilly is house trained, crate trained, knows his basic commands, and is looking for a foster family that will give him the patience, guidance, and love he deserves.

Adoptive Family Update: Kopi (formerly Confetti)

Kopi is on her very first road trip—and she is the perfect little passenger! She travels beautifully and has been busy exploring all the new smells, sights, and sounds along the way.

She’s also been soaking up the sunshine on her adorable little face.

At home, she’s an absolute cuddle princess. Her favourite thing is wrapping her tiny front paws around your arm for a hug, followed by plenty of sweet little kisses.

We’re so happy to see our little girl living her best life.

Once a DRY dog, always a DRY dog. ā™„ļø
