I didn't even realize but I'm off for like a month now 😆

Whoops, oh well will be a nice break before back to full time touring in the fall!

I had a ~fall feeling~ today aka a fleeting moment of excitement for knit sweaters and cinnamon candles

So many birthdays, concerts, and events coming up! I'm so excited 😊 Also so many cozy reading/hobby nights in my rooooom. Ahh I love my room 🥰

New diary up tomorrow! Pt 2 of the summer film series! Should I do a part 3?

I may take a few more weeks off posting until I'm back on tour. Just enjoying the final days of summer and working on an exciting project 😁

KELOWNA!!! Another amazing trip thank you to everyone who came out & supported!! Can't wait to be back soon 🥳

My mom told me about this book called The Way of the Hermit by Ken Smith who kept a diary and said "When you keep a diary, you find yourself actively looking for a story to tell, and soon enough, your life will fill with far more vibrant scenes than it would if you were just sitting in your chair, passively letting the world slip by before you. You want to impress your reader, and if that reader is only ever going to be you, what could be more important than creating a life story that is full of color and resonance?"

I love this quote! I feel like touring and weeks off become so much more interesting because I am always observing what will make a good story or what will I share. It becomes a much more interactive experience rather than a passive one. And in some of these small towns, interactive is the only way to survive.

Funny story is that my mom has written a daily blog for almost twenty years, just about her daily life. She has a solid consistent following of her customers (she teaches sewing) who love her updates and reach out if she missed a post that day (usually just a technical error, she never misses a day!). It's cool because when I see her, I always make the blog, Bear makes it more often tho!! And she travels a lot so I can always know where she is or what shes up to. I guess the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree!!

I also really appreciate everyone who comes up to me in person and tells me they read it every week. I really enjoy making them. I think while I have these next two weeks off I want a bit of a brain break so I will be off for two weeks or maybe just do another photo dump in two weeks lol, but regardless thank you all!!! I appreciate hearing how my little project has made an impact on you!
