Take Flight Programming

Take Flight is committed to helping developmentally disabled youth transition from the highly structured schooling system to the unstructured, often inaccessible, adult community through recreational programming focusing on eliminating social isolation, developing crucial life skills, and most importantly, having fun! We aim to help integrate our members into the community through education, activities, and events. At Take Flight, we recognize that everyone is different, with varying dreams, goals, and passions, and we are dedicated to helping each member craft a meaningful, rewarding life. To do this, we provide high-quality classes and activities, create a socially inclusive environment, and develop individual plans for goal-achievement and future success for transitioning between crucial stages in life!
