This weekend we had our board wide Skills Canada Welding competition.
There were eight competitors from our school.
It was seven hours of welding to win a chance at going to Thunder Bay to compete in the regionals.
Congratulations to our top three finalists going to Thunder Bay.

I know I don’t post a lot on here but I try to put things out there that we are doing.
I like to post the projects that the students do and show off their ingenuity and skills they are picking up and using.

We had a student ask about an old project (air engine) and now we have four students that want to build one. We haven’t built them in years because they are pretty hard to build and get running. But these four saw a challenge and accepted it. Good luck to them I know they will be able to do it.

Mine in Dubreaulville looking for workers. This is a new mine and starting with lots of operations jobs first.
