Georgetown Bread Basket

This is the big weekend!!
GBB is thrilled to receive support for our clients from the proceeds of this fun event. There are some great items to bid on!

💚 Donate. Bid. Make a Difference.

🍂 Summer was full of fun, sunshine & good times—but now fall is here, and our pantry shelves are getting low. 💛
We're asking our amazing community to help us restock the pantry and support local families in need. 🛒🥫
Join us on Saturday October 3 for a Food Drive, hosted at RCSS in partnership with Georgetown's dedicated First Responders! 🚒👮‍♀️🚑
🥫 Every can counts.
🛍️ Every donation makes a difference.
❤️ Together, we can fill our shelves and help make sure our neighbours have the food they need.

A quick update from yesterday - we are out of pasta. Again, thank you for any help you can provide❤️

Here are the items most needed currently at GBB. 🛒🥫 We tend to receive fewer donations in the summer months so we thank the Georgetown community for any support that you can provide this fall. 💚🤲🍁🍂

GBB scored tonight at Georgetown Hockey Heritage Council annual awards dinner. The GBB was recognized for the much needed community service it provides and was honoured to receive a cheque for $5,000 to support the continued efforts of helping those with food insecurities in the Georgetown area. Thank You HHC for your continued support of the Georgetown Breadbasket. Truly grateful for your generosity.

🌱 Grown with care. Shared with heart. 💚
Thank you to Amma for sharing their beautiful fresh fruits and veggies to help nourish the Georgetown Community. 🥕🥬

🍂 Fall is coming, and our shelves need a little help! 🧡

Every can, box, and bag makes a difference. Together, we can help make sure our neighbours all get a good start into the fall/school season.🍁 Thank you for your support!!

Last week, our GBB Chairperson was invited to attend breakfast with Georgetown B2C and speak about work done by GBB volunteers in support of the community. Anette was presented with an extremely generous cheque for $10 000.00 in support of the food bank! 💫🙌❤️ Donations to GBB typically fall in the summertime, but hunger does not, so we are extremely grateful for this wonderful boost of support to help us continue our work. 🫶🥫
