Join us at Falls Reserve Conservation Area on Sunday, October 11th from 5-7 pm for trick-or-treating around the campground! 🍫

This event is open to campers and camper guests.

🍭 Bring your trick-or-treat bag

This weekend is also Thanksgiving weekend, which is a popular camping weekend! Sites can fill up quickly. Be sure to reserve your campsite early.

🐢 Join us at the River Festival this Sunday for a reptile show and meet-and-greet with Scales Nature Park!

The festival begins at noon and the reptile show starts at 1:00 p.m. This is a fun, hands-on experience for all ages.

🏕️ We’ve updated our Gatehouse hours at Falls Reserve Conservation Area.

These hours are subject to change without notice due to staff availability. Staff will monitor camping bookings to assist with 2:00 p.m. arrival check-ins on days the gatehouse is closed.

The River Festival is being rescheduled to Sunday Sept. 13th due to the wet weather. See you then!

Help us celebrate 75 years of conservation at our upcoming River Festival! Be part of the festivities on Sun. Aug. 30th from noon to 4 p.m. at Brussels Conservation Area.

Explore family-friendly activities including: 🦅Canadian Raptor Conservancy's birds of prey 🐢 Native reptiles from Scales Nature Park 💧 Water sampling and stream creatures ⛵ Crafts & model boat building 🌳 Tree seedling giveaway and stewardship activities 🐝 Pollinator patch with free seed giveaway 🐟 Fishing intro for kids!

Don't miss the activity stations hosted by the Middle Maitland Rejuvenation Committee, Maitland Mills Association and Municipality of Huron East. Plus, the Leo's club will be firing up the BBQ.

For the safety of all visitors, pets, and wildlife, dogs must be kept on a leash and under control at all times while visiting Falls Reserve Conservation Area.

Leashing your dog helps:
• Protect wildlife and sensitive habitats.
• Prevent unwanted interactions with other visitors and pets.
• Keep your dog safe near steep riverbanks and fast-moving water.
• Ensure everyone can enjoy the park safely and respectfully.

Please note: Dogs that bark excessively or are deemed to be a disturbance or a danger to other visitors will be evicted.
