As we move into February, it's time to start thinking about your company's T4 filing deadline!

Some fun facts about T4's:
- If an employee was on or had access to dental insurance at December 31, 2023, it must be reported on their 2023 T4 slip.
- Issuing electronic T4s to employees can only be done through a secure portal unless you have written consent from the employee to send it by other means.

In 2024 we will begin to see the roll out of the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), which will continue into 2025. The program is designed to be an income sensitive insurance policy for eligible Canadian residents with a gross household income of $90,000 or less.
