Apex Security

Today, Apex Security honours the Survivors of residential schools, the children who never came home, and the families and communities who continue to carry their stories.

Today is a day to remember, to listen, to learn, and to reflect on the importance of truth, understanding, and reconciliation.

Together, we can help build a future rooted in respect, compassion, and understanding 🧡

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Labour Day long weekend!

Whether you'll be working, relaxing, or somewhere in between, we hope you have a great weekend!

Wishing all students, teachers, and school staff a safe and successful return to school this week!

Classes begin in Grande Prairie on September 3, which means school zones will once again be busy with students walking, biking, and crossing our streets.

🚸 A reminder to drivers:
School zones are in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on school days, with a speed limit of 30 km/h.

Please slow down, stay alert, and give yourself a little extra time. A few extra seconds of caution can make all the difference in helping everyone get to and from school safely.

Another successful PPCT Threat Pattern Recognition, Use of Force & Setcan OC course is complete!

Last week, over the course of 4 days, 14 professionals completed either initial certification or recertification, including:

🛡️ 9 Security Professionals
🚔 1 Apex IMS Bylaw Officer
👮 4 Community Peace Officers

At Apex Security, we believe strong training builds confident, professional, and effective personnel. These courses give participants practical skills in threat recognition, use of force decision-making, and hands-on scenario training that prepares them for real-world situations, while reinforcing safety, professionalism, and accountability.

A special thank you goes to our instructor, Lucas Stauffer, whose knowledge, dedication, and commitment to developing others continue to make these courses an outstanding learning experience. The time and effort he invests in every class helps ensure participants leave with the confidence and skills they need to succeed in the field.

Congratulations to all graduates, and thank you for your professionalism and commitment to ongoing development.
