Okay but real talk… one of the biggest things I’ve learned working with business owners and independent contractors is that way too many people are guessing when it comes to taxes, deductions, and what they should actually be setting aside.
A business expense isn’t “free money.”
A write-off simply reduces taxable income. Which is why proper planning matters.
The goal isn’t just saving on taxes. The real flex is creating a strategy where:

✔️ & tax season doesn’t feel like a panic attack every year

Today hit me emotionally 🥹
Our team was recognized for over 20% growth over last year, making this our 2nd year in a row receiving this banner
It reminded me that consistency compounds. Even on the days it feels slow.
When I first opened it, I honestly cried a little.
Not because of the banner itself, but because of what it represents:
- The growth
- The pressure
- The lessons
- The leadership
- The hard conversations
- The late nights
-& the people who believed in us along the way
Sometimes you get so focused on where you still want to go that you forget to acknowledge how far you’ve already come.
Really grateful for every client, every teammate and every challenge that helped shape this season of growth ❤️

Chosen to do all the things they never got to do.
Their story didn’t end when they left—it continues with me. ✨

The most meaningful Canada Day of my life, spent honouring my roots and rediscovering them 🇮🇹🇨🇦
I love how the universe moves in divine alignment…
Without planning it, we ended up spending Canada Day on my father’s land—walking through his home, my grandparents’ piazza, and the soil where our story began.
✨️ Healing on my motherland
I could feel my ancestors whispering…

Picked oranges from the trees and ate them under the sun
