As a student at NWP you are automatically a member of the Students’ Association and pay an SA fee. What is the Students’ Association and what is my money going towards? The SA is a constituted organization that represents your interests to the college and greater community. The three-member Executive Council is elected each spring and is responsible for upholding and maintaining the policies and bylaws of the Association. The SA is governed by the Students’ Council, which is elected each fall from the student body. Student members have the opportunity to serve as active members on various college committees to ensure student input is provided to college decisions. Contribution of SA fees allows the Students’ Association to offer services such as a Student Health & Dental Plan, Health and Wellness Events, and Advocacy along with various campus activities throughout the academic year.

Join the Government of Alberta's Post-Secondary Student Focus Group, and make your voice heard on:
(1) campus learning environments, (2) freedom of expression and academic discourse, (3) institutional neutrality, and (4) student conduct processes.
This is an excellent opportunity shape future legislation and government direction. Make the student voice heard!

Don't want to get tested but want to participate in Consent Week still? We have Consent Boxes throughout the week for all students to get!

THIS JUST IN - Painting the car for our 2nd Annual Car Smash has a NEW TIME! It seems the car has taken a brief nap at the scrap yard - but will be here just after your afternoon class! Come find Mason in Lot C at 3:30pm to add some artwork to the car we will be smashing tomorrow at our 2nd Annual Car Smash!

As many of you may have heard - we have a rockin' concert coming to you on September 18, 2026! In order to set up for the concert and Welcome BBQ, both our Office and Howlers will be closed during the day!
