Stark

Paddle board Portie x2 🌊

Baby Sorcha took to the paddleboards on her very first try🤍 This little girly is 100% a water-loving Portie. She hopped right on the boards, and didn't mind the movement or rocking. I brought lots of treats for reinforcement, but she didn't need much convincing that the boards were a good time! She also happily jumped off the board a few times, much to Sybil's confusion who much prefers to sit, chill and watch the world go by. Looking forward to lots of water adventures with these water dogs 🤍

We've been keeping a secret....🤍
Stark and Sybil welcomed a new baby sister into the family last week. Meet Sorcha! (Pronounced like 'circa'). This sweet baby is from Sybil's phenomenal breeders and she's been the most perfect fit for us, especially for Stark and Sybil. Sybie now has a bestie to wrestle, run and swim with and Stark is thankful that some of those duties are off his plate. Sorcha has done an amazing job winning Stark over and being incredibly respectful and sweet towards him and he's already begun inviting her to zoom and play. We already couldn't imagine our home without her. I can't wait to watch this sweet baby dog grow 🤍

Let the Water Work season begin! 🌊

Sybil, Declan and I spent the day outside at the PWDCC Water Camp, refreshing our water work skills for some trials later this summer. Sybie shined, as usual, and she didn't skip a beat doing her boat loads, bumper retrieves and carries and free swims. So proud of this little Portie and the fun things we get to do together 🤍

Before, during and after Ruff Mudder 2026!

We had an amazing day with good friends, dog pals, muddy creeks, zoomies in the field and post-run-beers 🤍

Stark and Sybil had a blast doing all their favourite things with their favourite dogs and people 🤍 Sybil has made it a tradition to knock me down every year (she was successful again this year) and almost-10-year-old Starky kept up with the younguns and exceeded my hopes for the day and was relaxed, and neutral with all of the other dogs on the course. Cheers to another Ruff Mudder, we can't wait to run again next year!

New year with lots of exciting, new adventures to come 🤍

🤍🤍

It's birthday weekend in our house! Starky turned the big NINE on Sunday, and today Sybie turns TWO 🤍

These pups have the most wonderful relationship, and truly adore one another. As a dog owner, it's heartbreaking to begin to notice and admit that your dog is getting older and slowing down in some parts of their life. Starky definitely enjoys his rest and relaxation a bit more, but Sybil makes sure he isn't doing any slowing down on her watch. Stark has been an extremely happy boy these past couple years, and it's no coincidence that Sybie has played a huge part in that. These two will play, wrestle and play bitey face for (literally) hours and they've shown each other a great amount of respect, given each other confidence and shared a whole lot of joy with one another.

So thankful for these guys🤍

Love you to the moon and back Sybie-Soo & Starky-Poo

Fly away space buns 🌟🚀

My sweet, sweet Sybie is O N E today 🤍 This little lady has grown into the most wonderful, smart, mischievous and sweet Portie. She is everything I could have hoped for in a dog and as a little sister to Stark. I can't wait to see what the future holds for my baby dog🤍

First patio drinks of the season - many scritches were received, good boy and good girl status confirmed ✅

I can't wait to do all of the hiking, training, swimming and sporty things with these two this summer. Sybie and I did our introductory Dry Land Camp day today with the Portuguese Water Dog Club of Canada, with hopes of entering in some Water Work trials in the future. Little Lady really enjoyed the games, and we've got our homework to practice our foundations in the context of the water tasks.
