We know it’s not quite fall yet.

Some of you are already reaching for the sweaters, lighting the fall candles, and looking forward to everything pumpkin-related. Others are trying to squeeze every last bit out of summer before we start talking about crisp mornings and hot drinks. We get it - summer in Ontario is short, and we’re not in any rush to skip ahead.

That said… we’re making an exception when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner. 😉

We’ve added a new Family Sized Burger Box to our online store!

We know it can be difficult to find burgers that are locally raised, thoughtfully produced, and full of flavour. We also know how much of a staple burgers are during grilling season, and a single pack of four doesn’t always go very far.

A new chapter is beginning at Homegrown Roots 🌱🧺

After much consideration, we have made the decision to conclude our time as vendors at the Guelph Farmers’ Market after Labour Day weekend. Our final market day will be Saturday, September 5.

The market has been an important part of our journey as first-generation farmers. It was one of the first opportunities that helped us share our story, meet our customers, and grow our small farm.

But this isn’t goodbye… it’s a new way to connect with the farm.

We’re excited to be opening our own small farm store right here at Homegrown Roots! Beginning in two weeks, you’ll be able to shop our beef, chicken, seasonings, and other products directly from the farm by appointment.
