Paramount is the specialist in Skis Bikes and Boards in Guelph. Established in 1993 As well we can service and sell all of our products all year long.
Paramount was established in 1993 on Harvard road offering customers quality-sporting goods, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. After 15 years at our Harvard location we out grew the current store and then relocated to a bigger location at 30 Arrow Road. This location allows us to continue to keep offering quality products that fit you and your resources. No longer do we shut our bike department down for the winter or turn away skiers in the summertime looking for an off-season tune up.

We’re closing at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 10, and will be closed Sunday, October 11 and Monday, October 12 for Thanksgiving.

Used to be me picking the trails. Now he’s calling the turns, choosing the lines and checking over his shoulder to make sure Dad’s still there.

Yesterday’s CBC Marketplace story showed some shops helping customers bypass e-bike speed limits. That deserves attention.

Our standards go beyond how a bike rides. The motor, battery, charger, and support behind it all matter.
We love what e-bikes make possible: more laps, easier commutes, family rides, and getting back out there.
We want them to be part of our lives for the long haul. That means selling them responsibly today.
If it doesn’t meet our standards, it doesn’t make our floor.

We spend much of our lives outdoors—on trails, in the snow, and sharing these places with our kids. These landscapes have given us joy, connection, and countless memories. They also ask us to look more closely at the land beneath our feet, the histories it holds, and the Indigenous peoples who have cared for it since time immemorial.
As non-Indigenous people living on Indigenous lands, we acknowledge our naivety and the ways we have benefited from systems and histories we have not always understood. We care deeply, but we know that caring is only a beginning. We are committed to listening, learning, and considering how to move forward with greater humility, respect, and accountability.
On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never came home, residential school Survivors, and their families and communities. We are taking time to listen and learn, and to reflect on what reconciliation asks of us beyond today.
