Tri-City Bee Rescue
A group of dedicated beekeepers who will safely and quickly remove swarms and colonies from any dwelling or property anywhere in southern Ontario!
As well as relocate native bees to save them from harm :)
If you find a swarm, call us!
Ken doing what he does. This is why we catch swarms. This swarm was huge! Ken went to gather them from a tree, they had been in the tree a day or more, as soon as he got there they started to fly! He followed them for a block and a bit, set up his ladder without permission from the homeowner lol! Saved the guy and his family from a costly removal! Caught the queen before she got in the hole in the brick.
Honeybees swarm, beekeepers hopefully try to prevent it. We step up when they can't or the bees play a trick on them! ( as do many other beekeepers who collect swarms ;) ) Ken did get permission after he had the queen. Preventing the queen from entering the house was the most important step!
Splits and nucs! It's that time of year. Also, already have one honeybee removal, 2 wasp removals, 2 bumblebee relocations and a ton of over the phone coaching done! Yay bee season!

It's raining! Bees are brooding up. What's your plan? How are your hives looking, have you peaked? Do they need anything?
