The Mighty Red Van

Bouctouche NB, one of my favorite beaches from my beach tour last year - Irving Eco center. Also has many sites to see as Mr. Irving is from here so has given lots back to the community, museums, arbetorium, botanical gardens, theater theme park village , and night forest ligh show.

Day one: prepare : fill water tank, pack food, and start picnic, and frenchies Truro . First stop Bouctouche, of 3 week trip.

Shippagan, aquarium, and Miscou Island lighthouse and beach 8 most northeasterly tip of NB ! very windy, lighthouse is a museum 4$ . beach, bathrooms and restaurant, free. water is cold, rocky and lots of seaweed.

Beach 7 Ile-aux Foins Parc an island off of Neguac along the Acadian coast of NB. free, warm water, a bit rocky, nice boardwalk trail, picnic areas, bathrooms.

camping with friends Miramachi, beautiful sunsets and rise, river swim, BBQs, card games and laundry.

Beach 6 ESCUMINAC BEACH & FAMILY PARK camping. beautiful wild dunes, 7 km of sand, very clear water, cold water, lots of flies, campers walked with fly swatters! i had the full beach set up, chair, blanket, and huge umbrella for shade :)

lobster season was about to start in this part of NB. there were lobster cages piled high on all the docks and ports.

Beach 5 Kelly's Beach, Kouchibouguac National Park, 9$, long walk from parking, full bathrooms with showers, Canteen, nice?sand, shallow, warm, lots of bugs at dusk.

taking advantage of comforts of the campground . big cook out of fresh veggies and sausages from farm. will make enough for a few days. not fun to cook everyday on the road.

first campground small on a farm, the van is camouflaged against the red barn lol. got fresh garlic and walking distance to beach in Bouctouche. the downside is farmers start working before 6 am and roaster started at 5:30 am!!!
also stopped at farmers market and another Frenchy's.
